“The only way to succeed is to fail first.”
-Dakarhi Kervonne
Stumbled across this quote I don’t totally agree. There must be exceptions to his(her?) rule. Failure shouldn’t be the only way to succeed.
What do you think, must we fail before succeeding?

“Success” and “failure” are such absolute terms. I see the world as a bit fuzzier. We try something and maybe it turns out as we expect and maybe it doesn’t. Either way, the unexpected outcome may turn out better than the expected one. You never know!

Failure is how we label our setbacks and our attempts till things turn out exactly right. If at first we do not get the desired results within the expected time frame, we think we have failed!

Quite a good definition. That implies that half the time we think we fail,we actually don’t!
Very comforting thought. 🙂
